Terms

Terms used within the Flexi-deck software are as follows:

Term	Description
Creator	Use to create onscreen menus with the Menu Editor and create/edit macros using the Macro Editor, that are used to control the automation process. Creator functions are available in the 30-day trial or licensed version
Player	The Flexi-deck background process that loads the menus and runs the macros when triggered to do so.
Action	Defines a single action performed as part of the task automation procedure.
Macro	Defines a set of Actions used to perform all or part of a task.
Menu	An onscreen menu that is constructed of a number of Buttons that can be used to invoke a Macro or perform specific menu functions.
Macro Editor	Used to define the Macros from a predefined set of Actions
Menu Editor	Used to construct the onscreen menus and define the function of each button
Hotkey Editor	Used to defined keystroke shortcuts to invoke macros.
Project	A collection of Macros and / or menus
Library	A collection of macros and menus created to control a specific application
